Major Dad: Marcus Wright, a seriatim back from San Antonio who has committed to Tulsa, said the honor he feels from in the All-American Bowl goes way beyond ball. His father, Michael Wright Sr., recently pensioned off from the Army after 25 years of amenity.

"It's kind of more important for me than I speculation some of the new guys, because my dad's been in the military and I know the standard of living that soldiers live," Marcus Wright said. "They're only just ever in the same place double. They're getting puzzled here and there or whatever, they move around a lot. It's a bit you get used to, but it's not somewhat you actually like. It seems like every one time you finally get settled in, you're moving over. For the soldiers to do what they do and for us to come out and supply a tiny entertainment for them for one weekend, it's a especially big honor for me."
